New coaching program will directly support graduate, international and mid-career students while generating insights on the student experience
PORTLAND, OR. (MARCH 8, 2018) — Student success leader, InsideTrack announced today that they have been selected by The Tseng College at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) to provide executive-style coaching to prospective students and help CSUN leverage insights gained through the coaching program to improve enrollment operations and student support.
Over the next three years, InsideTrack’s professional coaches will work closely with approximately 4500 prospective CSUN students to support them in defining their long term goals, selecting the best fit programs, navigating the enrollment process and preparing for a strong start. InsideTrack data analysts and consultants will also provide CSUN’s Tseng College with rich insights on student decision-making, potential challenges and communication preferences, working with university administrators and staff to enhance student success and operational effectiveness.
“The Tseng College at CSUN specializes in advanced degrees and certificates that prepare mid-career adults for success in rapidly growing fields. Additionally, we have one of the nation’s most comprehensive offerings of academic and specialty programs for international students,” said Jessie Revlin, Director Marketing and Communications at The Tseng College. “We are committed to providing the holistic support that working adults and international students need to make informed enrollment decisions and thrive in school and beyond. We believe that Inside Track, with its deep expertise in enrollment management and student success, will greatly enhance these efforts.”
In order to ramp up the coaching program quickly and cost-effectively, CSUN leveraged the Master Enabling Agreement between the California State University system and InsideTrack. This agreement provides the system’s 23 campuses access to a broad range of InsideTrack recruitment and retention services. InsideTrack’s work with CSUN follows a decade of successful work with the California State University system and campuses including Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Channel Islands, CSU Dominguez Hills, and CSU Fullerton.
“As an organization that has worked with California institutions and students since our founding in 2001, we have seen firsthand how CSU campuses positively impact their students, their communities and the world,” said Kai Drekmeier, founder and president of InsideTrack. “CSUN has demonstrated unique leadership is serving working adults and international students. We are excited to work with them and build on this invaluable tradition and commitment to expanding educational and career opportunities for all.”
