Jorge Perez, an ambitious young sales manager for Cargill, knew that he wanted to get his MBA at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. But first he had to conquer the GMATs.

Jorge, who obtained his undergraduate engineering degree in Mexico, aced the quantitative section. But his verbal score reflected that fact that he was raised speaking Spanish in Mexico.

Because his acceptance to Pepperdine depended on his GMAT score, Jorge prepared to take the test again. He says that his InsideTrack coach, Andy Dashwood, encouraged him throughout the process.

Jorge also credits Andy with helping to keep him on track as he completed his application and started the enrollment process. "We speak once a week and he's always asking 'what's next? What's your next commitment?' He's been so helpful."
