Focus Area: Finances

By eliminating or minimizing financial concerns, students give themselves more time and energy to focus on being productive in and outside of class. The aim of this Focus Area is to help students better understand their financial situation and how to gain control over it. Most importantly, the Finances Focus Area targets how students plan to pay for school, now and in the future.

The Finances Focus Area helps students understand:

• What it's going to take for them and/or their parents to pay for school
• How they should plan for paying for school
• How to handle financial responsibilities effectively
