InsideTrack releases new research on the Future of Non-Traditional Higher Education

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, January 21, 2009 — InsideTrack, Inc. the nation’s premier provider of student coaching services to universities, today announced is has released part one of a two-part research perspective that discusses the future of non-traditional higher education. Written by InsideTrack Advisory Board member, Nicholas H. Allen, Provost Emeritus & College Professor at University of Maryland University College, part one of the perspective focuses on the first two of five trends that will impact which schools will thrive and grow and which may cease to exist in the coming 10 years.

“Because we are dedicated to ensuring the success of students and universities, it is important for us to deeply understand, synthesize and drive awareness around trends in higher education,” said Kai Drekmeier, president and co-founder of InsideTrack. “Our goal is to help administrators effectively prepare for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”

Part one of the two-part perspective discusses new obstacles that post-secondary education will face in the coming decades. It highlights actionable opportunities to overcome these obstacles, which may inhibit growth in the non-traditional sector.
