InsideTrack makes San Francisco Business Times list of “Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies”
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 11, 2005 — InsideTrack, a provider of student coaching services to colleges and the students they serve, was honored this week by the San Francisco Business Times as one of this year's "Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area." The five-year-old company is ranked #23 on the list, which is published annually.
The publication surveyed more than 2,000 companies and gathered nearly 230 applications, up roughly 15 percent form the previous year. The businesses on this year's List were ranked by percent revenue increase between 2002 and 2004. According to the publisher, due to an expanding Bay Area economy, companies had to have grown nearly 50 percent to make it into the Top 100 this year, compared to 30 percent last year.
The companies must be independent, privately held corporations, proprietorships or partnerships — not a subsidiary or a division — through fiscal year 2004. They must have been in business for the full fiscal year in 2002, and achieved at least $200,000 in net revenue that year.
"We're honored to be recognized among the area's fastest growing companies," said Alan Tripp, Insidetrack's Founder and Chief Executive Officer. "It's rewarding to know that as we strive to help colleges and their students to achieve greater success, we're creating our own success."
