InsideTrack employs 300 to coach college students
Number of the day 300
That's how many coaches work for InsideTrack, a 12-year-old San Francisco company that's the biggest player in the growing field of providing counseling for college students. The coaches talk with freshmen about studying, financial challenges, family issues and long-term planning. Colleges are footing the bill to reverse a trend in which only 58 percent of full-time freshmen in four-year programs in 2004 managed to graduate by 2010.
