How InsideTrack Works With Existing Campus Services

Our Success Coaching and Enrollment Coaching programs are, more than anything, partnerships between InsideTrack and the schools we work with. Indeed, schools regularly cite increased student use of campus services as one of the most satisfying results of working with InsideTrack.

InsideTrack coaches are trained to know the ins and outs of each school's policies, processes, and resources, and to use that knowledge to facilitate the connection between students and the school they're attending — not to displace or disrupt existing campus services. Our coaches:

  • Help students identify campus resources that can help them achieve their goals
  • Promote the use of the school's academic support programs, and encourage students to interact with the school's faculty and staff
  • Prepare students for meetings with professors, advisors, counselors, and other staff, ensuring that those meetings are as productive as possible
  • Reinforce what students learn in school programs (for example, in freshman orientation programs)
  • Act as an "early warning system," identifying potential problems in the student population, and communicating with the school's staff and faculty about those potential problems.

InsideTrack Focus Areas

InsideTrack has identified seven areas that are key to students' academic and personal success. Our coaches keep students motivated and focused on achievement in these Focus Areas, so they continue to move forward toward graduation and success in life:

"Due to the frequency and quality of interaction with students, InsideTrack serves as a vital two-way communications channel for our administrators. The coaching team alerts us to developing trends or issues on campus as they develop, and as a result we can take action or make decisions in a much quicker fashion. In addition, we have used InsideTrack to assist us with our research needs when we need to gather student input or feedback."
