Maria Montoya was drawn to coaching because of her desire to give to others while utilizing her professional and academic skills. Prior to joining InsideTrack, she worked in project administration and conflict resolution at Oregon Health & Science University. Her project administration background lends itself to understanding all of the systems, steps and potential roadblocks that students may face. Meanwhile, her training in Conflict Resolution prepared her for the type of active listening, empathy and objectivity that students need. Maria obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Speaking from Lewis & Clark College.
